Port William Carnival
31st July to 8th August 2010
Calor Scottish Village of the Year 2008 (Southern Region)
The biggest Carnival Celebration
in South West Scotland, Port Williams Carnival has something for everyone.
Traditionally a time when "ex-pats" return to meet family and
friends, events are open to everyone, locals and holidaymakers alike.
So join in and have fun!!
Highlights of last year have to be Ross Pomfretts production of "Mamma Mania", an outstanding success, The Tourie Band fiddlers concert, compared by Jim McColl of BBC's Beechgrove Garden, the First Response Teams entry in the Fancy Dress and the tremendous amount of work put in by all sections of the village to make this probably the most enjoyable Carnival for everyone, villagers and visitors alike.
