Port William - Carnival Events

Port William Carnival

28th July to 4th August 2012

Calor Scottish Village of the Year 2008 (Southern Region)Fancy dress parade 2003

The biggest Carnival Celebration in South West Scotland, Port Williams Carnival has something for everyone. Traditionally a time when "ex-pats" return to meet family and friends, events are open to everyone, locals and holidaymakers alike.

So join in and have fun!!

Highlights of last year have to be The Tourie Band fiddlers concert, compared by Jim McColl of BBC's Beechgrove Garden, the First Response Teams entry in the Fancy Dress

and the tremendous amount of work put in by all sections of the village to make this probably the most enjoyable Carnival for everyone, villagers and visitors alike.

The 2012 programme is still being collated, so we have left the 2011 programme up so that you can see some of the things we get up to.
