THE GATE LODGE
Airyolland Farm, Port William.

A 600 acre farm situated in an idyllic position on the Galloway coast. Gavin Maxwell (the famous author) was born in the nearby fishing village of Port William and his brother once owned Airyolland Farm when it was part of the Monreith Estate. Visitors are free to wander and explore the extensive farm which includes a duck pond and some rocky shoreline (subject to some seasonal restrictions). A perfect location for relaxing and unwinding in this beautiful unspoilt corner of Scotland.

A detached cottage situated less than 100 yards from the rocky shore. The property has stunning sea views - on a clear day you can see the Isle of Man - and visitors will enjoy sitting in the large sun lounge and enjoying the view.
The owners live in the nearby Airyolland Farm and personally welcome visitors. The accommodation is furnished and equipped to a high standard.
